Tally......

South Lake got the brunt of the heavy snowfall yesterday. Sierra looks to have gotten the higher end of the snowfall predictions. Looking at webcams it looks like over 6 inches at the base. The snow reporter is reporting 10" at 7300 ft which leads me to believe there is close to the 15" mark on top.

It is going to stay cold all week which means the snow will stick around. Looking for a few more inches from a weak storm tomorrow night along with a reinforcing shot of cold.

Next week the ridge stays just offshore. We should get a few shots of colder air from systems to our East. Interesting to watch the MJO as it has gone strong than forecast the past few days and is headed into the Western Pacific. That trend leads me to believe we will see a return of storminess Thanksgiving week. Stay tuned.........BA
