After over a foot of snow earlier in the week we have a break with some nice weather through Friday. Then a couple of weak systems will push through over the weekend.
The storms for Saturday and for Sunday night will be weak bringing some light snow showers. It looks like we could pick up an inch or two with each storm.
Next week the ridge moves a little closer and we should see lots of sun and mild temps through the end of the week. The next chance for a pattern change looks like it could be next weekend as we could see some colder air move in and possibly some snow.
Looking at the teleconnection forecasts and long-range climate models they all point in the right directions for a stormy pattern week 2 and beyond. Let's hope that hold and we see a strong finish to the month and start to March. BA
