We have had some quiet weather so far this week after the big snows last week. That will change this weekend as the next storm attempts to bring in fresh snowfall.
The storm will dig down the coast on Friday but will struggle to push inland. Forecast models show several different solutions to the timing of the storm coming onshore. Anything from Saturday afternoon through Sunday night. The track is still not completely certain either.
Right now it looks like we will see snow on Sunday into Sunday night with 6-9 inches possible on the mountain by Monday. The temperatures will also be colder this weekend with highs only in the 30's on the mountains.
There will be another storm moving in Tuesday-Wednesday next week. It's still not clear how strong this storm will be but right now it looks like anything from several inches up to 2 feet. We will have to continue to watch this storm.
Then it looks like a cold storm will move in next weekend bringing even more snow. Not a huge storm but several inches up to 2 feet is the far out guess right now. We will have to keep watching this storm as well over the next week.
Overall an active weather pattern with several more chances for snow over the next 10 days. BA
