Ski patrol measured 5 inches already as of noon today and the snow continues this evening. It looks like we could have close to a foot up top by Thursday morning as the snow continues to fall all night.
The next storm brings in a cold front Thursday afternoon with more heavy snow. We could see it let up Thursday night and then pick up again Friday morning as the center of the storm moves into the Sierra. We could pick up another foot by Friday morning and then another by Saturday morning.
It looks like a nice weekend on tap with warming temperatures and sun. The weather will stay active to our North next week and now forecast models are suggesting we could see more snow before we close. Some models are digging a storm down the coast next Friday bringing another nice storm right in time for closing weekend.
Looking at the teleconnection forecasts and with the way this season has gone so far I would not be surprised if we got more snow. Great conditions and a great end to a not so great season. BA
