Big Dump Coming on Top of What Fell Today.

We picked up more snow than expected today with 8 inches as of the noon snow report and it continued to snow all afternoon. We will have to see the totals on the morning snow report but I'm guessing over a foot.

The next storm for Wednesday is looking a little stronger on the forecast models today. The snow should start late Tuesday night and then fall heaviest Wednesday with snow showers lasting into Wednesday night. Then another wave or two behind the storm should keep the snow going on Thursday.

Total snowfall by Thursday night looks to be 20-30 inches at the base and 25-35 inches at the summit. That's on top of what fell today. I will update again Tuesday and add in the totals from today.

The long-range shows the possibility of another storm next Tuesday and again the weekend of the 10th. BA
