2-3 Feet Over 2-3 Days

Ok Sierra, are ready for one last big powder dump?  Two storms are approaching that will bring cold air and lots of April snow.

The snow should push in by Wednesday morning with this first system that has been stalled off the coast since the weekend. We should see On the mountains 3-6 inches at the base and 6-9 inches at the summit through Wednesday night.

The stronger and colder system blasts in Thursday. No changes to the forecast as this second system will drop heavy snow Thursday afternoon into Thursday night with snow showers lasting through the day on Friday.

Total possible snow totals with the second system of 15-20 inches at the base, and 20-25 inches at the summit. Storm totals by Saturday morning on the mountain of 1.5-2 feet at the base, and 2-3 feet at the summit.

These storms should push Sierra over 300 inches for the season.  Not a huge season but a big finish here in March and April.  Conditions will be as good as they get in mid-April this weekend.  BA
