We picked up another 13 inches in the past 24 hours on the mountain from the current storm, and it's still snowing hard this morning. That brings the 5 day total to 75 inches, the 2 week total to 131 inches, and the season total to 261 inches. That is 54% of our seasonal average and we're only 5 days into Winter.
The center of the low pressure is moving into Northern CA this morning which will keep the snow showers going into tonight. We could pick up another 3-6 inches at the base by tomorrow morning and 6-10 inches on the mountain.

75 Inches & Counting Since Friday
The next storm is a cut-off low for Friday night into Saturday and is forecast skirt us with light snow as it makes it way down the West coast. These lows are hard to predict as they are cut off from the jetstream, but right now it looks like we could see 2-4 inches at the base and 3-6 on the mountain through Saturday.
The ridge of high pressure will begin to build over the West Sunday but the temperatures will stay cold keeping the snow soft through early next week. Highs will be in the 30's and lows in the single digits at the base, with 20's and teens on the mountain.
The next storm approaches the West Coast by the middle of next week. A big change on the latest computer model runs as they have the system headed towards the Pacific NW, and then splitting with the Southern piece going into Northern CA. That would bring a nice little shot of snow for the 2nd or 3rd.
Overall the high pressure ridge will be building off the coast next week. The forecast models are struggling beyond week 1 with some amplifying the ridge and cutting off all storms to the West Coast week 2, while others are flatter keeping the storms just to our North into the Pacific NW. BA
