Lot's of Sunshine

After a long series of storms we will have a prolonged break in the action with plenty of sunshine into next week.

A ridge of high pressure building off the coast of California is keeping the storm track to our North and then down into the Rockies.  This pattern will keep us cool and dry with highs in the 30's and 40's on the mountain.

As the ridge begins to retrograde back away from the West Coast next week and further the following week we should see shots of cold and snow showers and then more storms.  The first shot of cold could push in next Wednesday with light snow showers and then another shot next weekend.

If the forecast holds and we see the ridge of high pressure move West away from the coast, the week of the 17th we should see a return of storms and they would be much colder than the storms we saw last week.  Stay tuned for updates.
