Snow showers continued to fire yesterday dropping another 6 inches of snow. That brings the 3 day storm total to 20 inches on the mountain.
The temperatures this morning were near zero degrees and highs will only be in the 20's through Monday. That will make for nice soft cold snow all weekend.
Then we will have warming temperatures next week, into the 40's by the end of the week.
The ridge will be building and sitting along the West Coast for the extended period keeping us storm free. The forecast models are trying to undercut the ridge starting next weekend. If the MJO continues to progress through the Pacific that may happen. We will have to watch this week.
Until then enjoy the great conditions that will be around for a while with the big mid-season snowpack.
