With a moist and mild flow from off the Southern CA coast we have seen some light rain showers with snow levels up above 8000 ft. Thursday and Friday.
This mild flow will continue through Friday night and then snow levels will start to come down Saturday to 7000 ft. and then plummet Saturday night with the cold front. Sat night through Sun night we will see lots of cold air and 2-4 inches possible at the base, and 3-6 inches on the mountain.
It will be colder week next week but dry with highs in the 30's to start and then 40's by the end of the week.
Still watching for some storms for the week of the 4th. Expecting February to end up much snowier than January. We are still looking good on the season because today we are about 40% of the way through the ski season and still sitting at 60% of the seasonal snowfall average.
