Cold to Mild Week

Cold air is around through Monday before the trough kicks East and the ridge builds in along the West Coast this week. Tue-Thu the temps warm into the 40's and then maybe the 50's by Friday and Saturday.

The ridge is going to move East next weekend allowing a trough to drop into the West. Most forecast  models are keeping the coldest air and precip to our East but the Canadian model is showing some light snow.

The pattern for week 2 looks colder with the ridge further out in the Pacific and troughs dropping into the West Coast. There will be chances for light snow with each one.

Still no signs of a significant storm but that can change quickly on the long-range models. The CFS is still showing average to above average precip for CA the last week of the month into the first week of March.
